How to Compare International Recruitment Quotations

Compare recruitment proposals on scope, evidence, responsibilities and written conditions rather than price alone.

Two recruitment quotations may look similar while offering very different levels of support. Employers sourcing Bangladeshi workers should compare the deliverables line by line before deciding which proposal fits their requirement. Use one brief for all proposals Give each provider the same roles, headcount, destination and assessment requirements. If one quote assumes a simple CV search and another includes interview coordination, the totals are not directly comparable. Clarify differences before treating either as more economical. Ask what “screened” means Does screening include a conversation with the candidate, document review, technical assessment or references? Ask how the result is recorded. A label without a defined method does not tell the employer what evidence supports the shortlist. Identify exclusions Check responsibility for official applications, trade tests, travel, translations and joining support where relevant. Do not assume these are included simply because a quotation uses the phrase “complete recruitment.” Authority decisions and technical acceptance should be described accurately. Read the conditions Compare payment triggers, cancellation terms and any replacement provisions. Ask how changes in salary, duties or headcount affect the agreement. A written explanation is more useful than a broad verbal assurance. Evaluate communication A provider who asks specific questions about the role is helping define the assignment. The employer should also commit to timely interview feedback and accurate job information.
