How to Write a Blue-Collar Recruitment Brief
A practical recruitment brief covering duties, headcount, essential skills, assessment, pay, benefits and joining dependencies for international hiring.

A good blue-collar recruitment brief saves repeated questions and makes candidate screening more consistent. Employers do not need a long brochure. They need a clear description of the work, the proposed terms and the selection process.
Describe the work first
List each job title with its headcount and main duties. Add the equipment, materials and workplace conditions relevant to selection. Separate essential skills from preferences and identify what training the employer will provide.
State the full offer
Include the location, contract period, pay basis, working schedule and overtime arrangements. Explain accommodation, meals and transport if offered, including any charges or conditions. Avoid leaving “benefits as per company” undefined when those benefits affect the candidate’s decision.
Define the assessment
Name the person who will interview and the technical representative who will approve skills. Explain whether selection includes a trade test, document checks or references. Set a feedback window that the employer can realistically meet.
Explain timing accurately
Give a target joining window and identify approvals or other dependencies. A requested start date is not proof that immigration, licensing or travel steps are complete. Keep the difference clear in candidate communications.
A concise example
“Six warehouse helpers for packaged goods; picking and packing under supervision; scanner training provided; employer interview required; full offer attached; joining subject to required approvals.” Add the actual pay, hours and benefits rather than relying on this example alone.
Send the brief to Rapidocs
Rapidocs can use the information to assess Bangladesh and GCC sourcing options and coordinate the agreed screening process. Update the brief if the vacancy changes so candidates and decision-makers work from the same version.
